Congratulations to those players who were selected in Heathfield's Team of the Century.

We are very excited to announce that we are conducting a "Team of the Century" reunion dinner on the 29th of March 2008. This fabulous evening will consist of the anouncement of the Heathfields Men's and Women's team of the century, 10 people for each team will be chosen for these teams as being remarkable volleyballers for Heathfield over the past 30 years. A buffet meal, audio visual displays of all the photos you hoped Eldo had burned will be on offer.

We have booked out rooms at the convention centre as we are expecting hundreds of old scholars and current students to attend. Photo's of the venue can be seen on the right.

If you have any old photos, videos, etc. of your old Heathfield Volleyball days and would like to have them added to the Audio Visual display, please contact Verity Hanka (details below) and she will arrange a way to have them displayed.

Everyone who attends will recieve 2 DVD's one with hudreds of photos taken over the past 30 years which you will be able to take home and print off at home. The other will have video footage.

Bring Back Tara


Tara is in Engaland with her husband Henry Olonga (of Zimbabwe Test Cricket Fame)
Henry is in England as he has been kicked out of Zimbabwe for wearing a black arm band in the cricket world cup in South Africa. As he now has no country and has to stay in England for a while so he can get British Citizenship. We need Tara back for this dinner and she is saving for an airfare. For those of you who have been in England you would know that saving in England would be difficult so that is why we have launched the bring back Tara Olonga (Read) fund.
