Students will focus on advanced compositional and lighting techniques used in all digital media imagery, both static and moving. Students will learn how to use the manual settings of a DSLR camera and its creative output on digital imagery. They will refine their manipulation skills, working with adobe creative suite to create collages, special effects, and persuasive 2D print and digital media in response to media analysis of arts works and artists. Students will critically analyse the impacts of digital media inventions throughout history on society and on art works.
This course may lead to Stage 1 Product Innovation, Visual Art Art/Design, Stage 1 Digital Media.
