10 Health for Footballers

SUBJECT OVERVIEW

Students engage in a range of activities and skills with a focus on Australian Rules Football. This includes developing their skills and game play, whilst also analysing the game. The students will use different fitness tests to identify strengths and weaknesses to improve on. The Year 10 Shine program will also be an integral part of this course. It covers decision making, student wellbeing, problem solving and sexual health.

ASSESSMENT

Students are assessed against the Health and Physical Education Australian Curriculum achievement standards.

Additional Information

Students must wear the Heathfield High School Physical Education uniform in all practical lessons.
Students must supply their own mouthguard and football boots
