SUBJECT OVERVIEW
The focus of this creative arts-based course is performance, through introductory music skills, movement and theatre arts. Students will participate in group work exploring basic performance skills from applying body language/movement and vocal skills. Additionally, students will experience a foundational knowledge of story-telling through music.
Students will build trust with each other using social skills working in collaborative practice. Planning and rehearsing various roles and responsibilities that will build confidence, as students interact with others in a safe environment. Students explore a basic introduction to performance-based arts practice including drama from a range of historical and contemporary perspectives.
