SUBJECT OVERVIEW
Design students will advance their skills in design through a choice of visual communications; graphic design and illustration and product design; architectural and interior/ fashion design.
Students will elaborate on the design process applying problem-solving, planning and invention to create projects. Using critical thinking, analysis and evaluating their own works as well as the work of fellow designers. The course will focus on the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite with Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign to create a highly refined finish to their design work. Students will also examine designers with a series of visual studies of designers and their work.
This course may lead to Stage 1 Visual Art Art/Design, Stage 1 Creative Arts
