SUBJECT OVERVIEW

Design students will experience projects based on environmental design; architecture/ interior design and fashion design. The course continues to develop students experience in the adobe creative cloud suite with photoshop, illustrator and indesign to create highly refined design work. In addition students will reinforce studio work with other technologies within the school with advancements in science, technology and design within design B. Students will also examine designers with a series of small visual studies of designers and their work. 

This course may lead to Stage 1 Product Innovation, Visual Art Art/ Design, Stage 1 Digital Media.

  • visual study: Adelaide Fashion Festival

ASSESSMENT

Students are assessed against the visual arts australian curriculum achievement standards:

  • folio of development relating to design brief and process
  • practical products
  • visual study
  • reflection evaluation of others and own design practice
