Students can choose according to their own creative arts interests. This could include traditional arts and/or media arts. Choosing from focus areas such as painting, printmaking, photography, design, film making, animation. Students will develop skills in an area of interest, investigate a practice or practitioner and create a folio and product based on a design brief.
Topic may include:
fine arts
photography
graphic design
image manipulation (Adobe Photoshop)
web design
film making
digital animation
fashion design
other Arts focus topics, depending on student interest
ASSESSMENT
Students are assessed against the Creative Arts SACE performance standards.
• practical assessment: 50% completed student practical works • folio Assessment: 30% skill acquisition assignment • research and analysis: 20% inquiry
Additional Information
Student may need a hard drive for collecting student evidence. Students may also need to purchase additional printing/internet credit.
