SUBJECT OVERVIEW

Through Enterprising Futures, students in the Entrepreneurial Pathway will have the opportunity to continue their current Entrepreneurial trajectory, whether that is continuing building their current business, exploring new businesses, engaging with local, national, or global communities to create meaningful and lasting change, working with Industry to explore their own work futures, or further developing their entrepreneurial mindset and skills for the future through school, community or industry projects.

Students can, but are not required to, use and existing business or business idea.

Working with a range of local partners and mentors, students will learn through a combination of Stage 2 Business Innovation plan, develop and implement community or industry programs.

Topics include;

Designing and Sustaining business

  • innovation
  • decision-making and project management
  • financial literacy and information management
  • global, local, and digital perspectives.

40% Assessment Type 1: Business Skills

30% Assessment Type 2: Business Model

30% External Assessment: Major Project
